We are also prepared to accept Euro or US Dollar equivalent subject to mutual agreement on the exchange rate.
Check In/Out
Check-in is between 16:00 and 18:00 unless otherwise arranged beforehand. Check-out is no later than 10:00am unless otherwise agreed. We will endeavour to be flexible if there are no prior or subsequent bookings to transition day.
Rental Period
Ortone is rented by the week from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed. The owners will endeavour to be flexible, although this will be unlikely in peak season. Mutually agreed rentals of more than one week but less than two weeks, or more than two weeks but less than three weeks etc, will be pro rated at the respective weekly rate.

Payment & Cancellation Policy
​
A deposit of 50% of the rental fee will be paid at the time of the booking. The remaining balance of 50% is to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is made within 4 weeks of arrival, the full rental fee will be paid at the time of booking.
Cancellations are permitted up to 4 weeks before occupancy and we will refund the deposit only if we receive a subsequent booking for that specific period. The refund will reflect the rate at which we rent the property as we may have to discount to attract interest at such short notice. If we manage to cover the cancelled booking, we will contact you immediately & this will be updated on the website.
Cancellations that are made less than 4 weeks prior to arrival date will result in the forfeit of the deposit and the 50% balance.
Guests who fail to make the balance payment on time will forfeit the 50% deposit.
Guests who pay in full at the time of booking, as long as it is not less than 8 weeks before arrival will receive a 5% discount.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, through Paypal or by cheque.
Security Deposit
A £1000 security deposit will be held against any damage or contravention of the House Rules, and this is to be paid in cash upon arrival, or incorporated within the balance of the fee paid when the booking is finalised.

This is fully refundable as long as:

All windows and doors are locked as well as the gates when the property is left unoccupied

Any supplement charges accrued during your stay are prior settled with the owners

No linen or towels are lost or damaged

There is no damage to the buildings and their contents beyond normal wear and tear

There is no smoking indoors

The maximum occupancy does not exceed 10 people unless agreed when booking
Please note that linen, towels, pool towels, heating & electricity, mid weekend maid service, use of amenities and a welcome pack are included in the rental price. Outgoing phone calls and the use of the swimming pool out of season are not included. In 2023, the pool closed on September 30th. In 2024, the pool is open from May 11th until September 28th.
